KMATS Tutoring provides personalized, private, and practical instruction in Math, English Language Arts (ELA), and Piano for students of all ages, from Kindergarten to adult learners.
Our experienced tutors are dedicated to helping students achieve academic and musical excellence through customized learning plans tailored to individual needs.
We offer comprehensive Math tutoring across all levels, including:
- Elementary and Middle School Mathematics
- Pre-Algebra, Algebra I & II
- Geometry, Trigonometry
- Pre-Calculus, Calculus
Our Math tutoring emphasizes a deep understanding of core concepts and problem-solving skills, helping students build a solid foundation and excel in their studies.
Our ELA tutoring covers a wide range of topics to develop strong reading, writing, and comprehension skills:
- Elementary and Middle School ELA
- K-2 Phonics and Word Recognition
- Reading Fluency and Comprehension (Literary/Informational Text)
- Sentence Structure and Grammar
- Vocabulary Development
- Writing (Narrative, Informative, Opinion, Essay)
We focus on enhancing students’ literacy skills, ensuring they can confidently tackle all aspects of ELA.
We provide Beginner to Intermediate Piano lessons, tailored to students’ individual pace and skill level. Our piano lessons focus on:
- Fundamentals of Piano Playing
- Music Theory
- Reading Music
- Developing Performance Skills
Whether you’re starting from scratch or looking to refine your skills, our piano lessons will help you reach your musical goals.
Lesson Plans
KMATS offers flexible tutoring plans designed to fit the needs of every student:
- One 40-minute 1:1 session per week
- Two 40-minute 1:1 sessions per week
- One 40-minute workshop per week
- Virtual Office Hours (Math Only): Wednesdays, 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM EST
Note: All packages include full access to our Math virtual office hours, providing additional support beyond regular sessions.

How We Work
We begin with an initial consultation and a brief assessment to understand the student’s unique needs. Based on this, we develop a personalized study plan and recommend the best approach to achieve academic or musical success.
Tutoring Formats:
- In-person: Available at local libraries or Starbucks
- Online Tutoring: Available worldwide
Requirements for Online Tutoring:
- A computer, laptop, or iPad with a webcam and microphone
- High-speed Internet connection
- Zoom application (free) for seamless communication and collaboration
Cancellation Policy
We understand that life happens, and we strive to balance fairness to our students and our company. Tutoring is a valuable commitment, and consistent attendance is key to achieving success. Our policy is designed to support your learning momentum:
- Virtual Office Hours: Available as a backup if a student cannot attend their 1:1 session or workshop.
- Rescheduling: We honor occasional reschedule requests for 1:1 lessons with at least 48-hour notice.
